Enjoy the beach? Willow's Beach is a sandy, sheltered beach that is a favourite with locals and is 4 minutes away by car. Cadboro Bay Beach is popular for wind surfers and small sail boats.

Enjoy strolling through a peaceful garden? The University of Victoria's Finnerty Gardens are magnificent especially in spring when the rhododendrons are in bloom.  Victoria is known as The Garden City and there are many special places like the Abkhazi Garden and, further afield, the world famous Butchart Gardens.

Enjoy something more physical? Cedar Hill Golf Course is a municipal course that features a perimeter chip trail  for walking or running. Cedar Hill Recreation Centre offers indoor tennis and workout equipment as well as being the home of the Cedar Hill Squash Club. The Henderson Recreation Centre has outdoor tennis courts and a par 3 golf course, and Oak Bay Recreation Centre has a pool.  A hike up Mount Tolmie or Mount Douglas will elevate your heart rate as well as give you a splendid view of the city.

Or, perhaps, you would like to shop? Hillside and Mayfair shopping malls and Oak Bay Village are close by and we are a block from bus routes that can take you right downtown to explore a great variety of shops without having to worry about parking. We also have restaurants, cafes, grocery shops, video outlets and a liquor store near at hand.
